At the UIL Regional Meet held April 22 and 23 in Carthage, regional qualifiers competed in their designated event for a chance to compete at the state meet in Austin, TX. America Cabriales placed 6th in Poetry and Lizzet Mendoza placed 4th in Computer Applications at the Regional Meet. The high school calculator team consisting of Rebeca Landaverde, Hannah Ngyuen, Hannah Garcia, and MaErika Josue, will be advancing to state. Also advancing is Kayla Avila, 1st place in News Writing, Elizabeth Bernal, 3rd place in Editorial Writing, and Shelby Jacobs, 3rd place in Informative Writing.
