He was born in Center on September 4th, 1953 then graduated from Center High School in 1972 and, later, from Prairie View A&M. Coach Moore was teacher, mentor and "Coach" to thousands of students over the course of his long and distinguished career in his chosen profession. He was respected by all and inspired many to pursue their own careers in education and coaching.
Forever a member of the Wolves family, Coach Moore will be dearly missed by all those fortunate enough to know him. There is much sorrow in his passing but he will always live in the hearts of those whose lives he touched here at San Augustine ISD as well as in the entire surrounding Deep East Texas community.
