On Friday, June 12, 2015 at the TASB (Texas Association of School Boards) Summer Leadership Institute in San Antonio, Texas, the longest serving school board members were asked to stand and be recognized in the General Assembly. When asked to sit as their number of years of service were called out, Bub Johnson, having served 32 years as an SAISD School Board Trustee, was the last person standing. San Augustine ISD is very proud!!!
