Dr. Virginia Liepman Named Superintendent by the School Board

Dr. Virginia Liepman is born and raised here in San Augustine having graduated from SAHS in 1971. She attended UT-Austin, and SFA, and earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Education. Dr. Liepman began her career as an elementary teacher, and later earned a Master of Science degree in Education and Child Psychology, and a Mid-Management Certification.

She served as Assistant Principal and subsequently as Principal for two Pasadena ISD elementary schools. In 1998, she earned a Doctorate in Educational Leadership (Ed.D), and founded “Color Them Gifted™” an educational consulting company focusing on identification of the gifted minority student.
