High School Threat Found Not Credible

The administration at San Augustine Independent School District investigated a potential threat to the high school on Thursday, November 7. After a thorough investigation, the threat was found not to be credible.“

The safety of our students and staff is of utmost importance, and we take these matters seriously. Anyone involved in making threats will face disciplinary action and additional consequences to the extent of the law.

Parents, please take a moment and talk to your children about the stiff consequences of making a threat (mandatory DAEP placement, removal from campus, possible arrest, and prosecution). SAISD will treat all threats, jokes, and other foolishness on this topic seriously.”
