November Students of the Month

SAISD Students of the Month for November

Elementary:

The Pre-K Student of the Month for November is Tristyn Johnson.  Tristyn was chosen because she is such a good listener.  She also shows us that she is very caring by not hurting or bothering any of her friends in the classroom.  Tristyn obeys the rules and is making very good progress on learning the alphabet, numbers, shapes and colors.  Tristyn is the daughter of Tikki Hudson and is in Mrs. Sylvia Nielson and Jackie White’s classroom.

The Kindergarten Student of the Month for November is Jeaninne Palacios.  Jeaninne is a caring and responsible child.  She always does exactly what she is supposed to do in the classroom.  She is a peer student for her classmates and is always eager to hold a classroom job.  Jeaninne participates in all classroom activities and is careful and neat with her work.  She provides a caring attitude toward being a model student.  Jeaninne is the daughter of Ana Maria Moreno and Gilberto Palacios and is in Mrs. Kindle Parrish’s classroom.

The 1st grade Student of the Month for November is Kaylee Kennemer.  Kaylee is a joy to have in class.  She always gets her work done and is willing to help her classmates.  Mrs. Tanner said the character trait for this month is caring.  Kaylee was chosen as the most caring person in their class by her classmates.  When some of the students were asked about Kaylee, they said that she is always nice and helps them with things.  Kaylee’s favorite subject is math and when she grows up she’s not sure what she wants to be…maybe a doctor.  Kaylee is the daughter of Eric Kennemer and Myranda Trevino and is in Mrs. Jenny Tanner’s classroom.

The 2nd grade Student of the Month for November is Giovanny Cortes.  Giovanny is an excellent student in all subjects.  He is attentive in class and always follows directions the first time.  He is always looking for new opportunities to learn.  Outside of the classroom, he is a great friend to all of his classmates.  He cares for everyone and tries to include all of his friends.  Giovanny is truly a model student!  He is the son of Claudia Covarrubias and Ismael Cortes and is in Mrs. Katie Warner’s classroom.

The 3rd grade Student of the Month for November is Riley Jackson.  Riley is sweet, quiet, and a hardworking student.  Her favorite color is red and her favorite subject is reading.  When she gets home she does her homework, plays on her phone, and likes to play with slime.  When she grows up, she would like to be a teacher.  Riley is the daughter of Ashley Jackson and Willie Edwards and is in Mrs. Jennifer Cecil’s homeroom class.

The 4th grade Student of the Month for November is Jakajsa Clark.  Jakajsa’s favorite subject in school is science and her favorite thing to do when she gets home is her homework.  She likes to design things and also enjoys swimming.  When she grows up she would like to be a fashion designer and be well known all over the world like Versace.  Jakajsa said she is so proud to be Student of the Month.  Jakajsa is the daughter of Lavetta Clark and Anthony Holman and is in Mrs. Tiffany Lozoya’s homeroom class.

The 5th grade Student of the Month for November is Jaylan Cortes.  Jaylan is an awesome student.  She loves to learn and her favorite subject is science. She loves to draw in her spare time.  When she gets older, she would like to persue her dream of being a doctor.  Jaylan is the daughter of Sandra Covarrubias and Jesus Cortes and is in Mrs. Kristian Ham’s homeroom class.

High School:

The 6th grade Student of the Month for November is A’nesiya Burrell.  A’nesiya is the daughter of Emily Price and Patrick Jackson, and Robert Burrell.  Her favorite subject is math and her favorite teacher is Mrs. Barnes because she is funny.  A’nesiya is involved in UIL calculator and she enjoys playing the piano.  She plans to go to college after she graduates high school and hopefully open up her own store one day.

The 7th grade Student of the Month for November is Christian Campbell.  Christian is the son of Ashley Campbell.  His favorite subject is math and his favorite teacher is Mrs. Herrera because she always gives a second chance to fix things when you mess up.  Christian is involved in band, athletics and 4-H.  He enjoys watching TV, sleeping and going to school.  He plans to go to Sam Houston University and study in the medical field to become a doctor.

The 8th grade Student of the Month for November is Joana Castro-Gallardo.  Joana is the daughter of Francisco Castro and Teresita Gallardo.  Her favorite subject is math and her favorite teacher is Mrs. Herrera because she always teaches in a fun way.  Joana is involved in band and UIL calculator.  She plans to go to college after she graduates from high school.

The 9th grade Student of the Month for November is Joel Deville.  Joel is the son of Rebecca Deville.  His favorite subject is mathematics and his favorite teacher is Mrs. Tomlinson because he enjoys band and she has taught him so much.  Joel participates in Student Council, Tri-M Music Honor Society, Interact, Band and UIL.  He enjoys doing any UIL activities.  Joel plans to attend Texas A&M University in College Station and major in engineering.

The 10th grade Student of the Month for November is Chasity Studdard.  Chasity is the daughter of Jennifer and Charles Studdard.  Her favorite subject is math and her favorite teacher is Mrs. Seale because she is always nice and fun.  Chasity is involved in FFA, Student Council and Art.  She loves to dance whenever she has a chance.  Chasity plans to get a job and go to college after she finishes high school.

The 11th grade Student of the Month for November is Ja’Mya Holman.  Ja’Mya is the daughter of Jametrice Parks and DeMarcus Holman.  Her favorite subject is reading and her favorite teacher is Mrs. Alicia Mathews because she’s a very nice person.  Ja’Mya enjoys working at Subway when she isn’t in school.  She plans to go to college and become a pediatric nurse.

The 12th grade Student of the Month for November is Ke’Ona Johnson.  Ke’Ona is the daughter of La’Keshia Davis and Greg Johnson.  Her favorite subject is math.  She is involved in FCCLA and is in the National Honor Society.  Ke’Ona plans to go to college and become a registered nurse.
