January Students of the Month

Elementary:

The Pre-K Student of the Month for January is Ryleigh Kennemer. Ryleigh is the daughter of Eric Kennemer and Myranda Trevino. She is always kind to everyone and is a hard worker. She has learned all the alphabet letter names and sounds. She can count to 39 and recognizes numerals 0 to 10.  At home, Ryleigh enjoys playing on her learning tablet, working puzzles, and playing anything Paw Patrol related. She always enjoys playing with her older sister, Kaylee. Ryleigh is in the class of Mrs. Lisa Crouch and Jodi Hoffman.

The Kindergarten Student of the Month for January is Abigail Marmon. Abigail is a sweet and smart young lady who does her very best in her work, and is well liked by her classmates.  Her favorite subject is reading and in her spare time she enjoys watching animals, jumping on her trampoline, and spending time with her cousins. Abigail is the daughter of Amanda Marmon and she is in Mrs. Kindle Parrish’s homeroom.

The 1st grade Student of the Month for January is Emmileux Bennefield. Emmileux is the daughter of Jill Mills Bennefield and Randy Bennefield. Emmileux is the middle child, she has an older sister Dixie and younger brother Gatlin. She enjoys playing with her baby doll Leah. At school her favorite subject is Reading. When she gets older she would like to do whatever her Momma does. Emmileux is in Mrs. Melba Pahal’s homeroom.

The 2nd grade Student of the Month for January is Jamari Porter. Jamari is the son of Marcus and Jackie Porter. Jamari would like for everyone to know that he comes from a good and loving family. He enjoys playing with his brother and sister. He also likes to play his Playstation4 and basketball. His favorite subject is Math. In the future, he would like to be an FBI Agent. Jamari is in Mrs. Katie Warner’s class.

The 3rd grade Student of the Month for January is Daijon Henderson. Daijon loves to play games on his Playstation, his favorite game is Madden 19. Daijon has big plans for the future as he hopes to attend UT in Austin and wants to play for the Dallas Cowboys. His favorite subject is science and hopes to one day see a volcano erupt.  Daijon is the son of Simone Davis and Vanthony Henderson and the older brother of Serenity and Zane Henderson. Daijon is in Mrs. Linda Skadowski’s homeroom.

The 4th grade Student of the Month for January is Chelsea Johnson. Chelsea is a hard worker and her grades reflect that! Her favorite subject is Math and she would like to be a teacher when she gets older. In her spare time, she enjoys playing teacher to her younger brother and sisters. Chelsea is the daughter of LaTashia and Christopher Johnson and is in Mrs. Maureen Carlton’s homeroom.

The 5th grade Student of the Month for January is David Rivera. His favorite subject is Math and in his free time he enjoys drawing. When he grows up he would like to work in construction building homes. His favorite thing about school is PE, and playing with his friends. David is the son of Agenar and Yajayra Rivera and he is in Mrs. Jennifer Morton’s homeroom.

High School:


The 6th grade Student of the Month for January is Tucker Tindall.  Tucker is the son of Sherry Tindall and Bobby Tindall. His favorite subject is science and his favorite teacher is Coach H (Harlie Richardson).  Tucker always participates in his classes and tries to do his very best. In his free time, he enjoys playing video games and working on vehicles. Tucker plans to go to college after he finishes high school.


The 7th grade Student of the Month for January is Zachary Griffin.  Zachary is the son of Kristy and Paul Griffin. His favorite subject is math and his favorite teacher is Ms. Kenya Watts because he likes learning about science.  Zachary participated in MS football and basketball. In his free time, he enjoys playing video games. Zachary hopes to play football in college after he finishes high school.


The 8th grade Student of the Month for January is Brenda Jones.  Brenda is the daughter of Sheila McCauley. Her favorite subject is math and her favorite teacher is Ms. Jesica Herrera.  She is a member of the band and in her free time she loves to draw. Brenda hasn’t decided on where she would like to go to college, but she hopes to buy a house as soon as she graduates high school.


The 9th grade Student of the Month for January is Michael Hightower.  Michael is the son of Tammy and Michael Hightower, Sr. His favorite subject is biology and his favorite teacher is Mr. Jesse Harrison because he teaches his students to weld and make projects.  He plays JV football and baseball. In his free time, he enjoys coon hunting and riding four wheelers when he gets a chance. Michael plans to go to college to become a welder.


The 10th grade Student of the Month for January is Kylar Hargrove.  Kylar is the son of Jaki and Clay Hargrove. His favorite subject is ag mechanics and his favorite teacher is Mr. Jesse Harrison because he has learned so many valuable lessons from him that can be used in ag and everyday life.  Kylar is involved in football, powerlifting, baseball, track, FFA and 4-H. He enjoys welding, leatherwork, working out and volunteering with his church. After high school, Kylar plans to attend a welding school or play college ball.  He really would like to do both if he could work it out!


The 11th grade Student of the Month for January is Kamyriah Burrell.  Kamyriah is the daughter of LaCresia Giles and Steve Burrell. Her favorite subject is forensic science and her favorite teacher is Ms. Shelby McNamara because she inspires her to go for what she wants and always believes in her more than she believes in herself. Kamyriah is involved in Interact Club and 4-H.  In her free time, she enjoys reading books, zydecoing, trail riding, listening to music and taking pictures. After high school, Kamyriah would like to attend SFA or TWU to become a physical therapist and would also like to become a professional photographer.


The 12th grade Student of the Month for January is Jalencia Price.  Jalencia is the daughter of Valencia Price. Her favorite subject is technology and her favorite teacher is Mr. Tom Schmieder.  She is proud to be a part of the Senior Class of 2019. Jalencia plans to go to college and study music and film production.
