San Augustine ISD – Students of the Month for October
ELEMENTARY:
The Pre-K Student of the Month for October is Londyn Wilson. She was chosen because she is a good listener, is well behaved, and has great manners. She is kind to everyone and is very helpful to her teachers and her classmates. When Londyn grows up she would like to be a teacher! Londyn is the daughter of Michael and Shenekka Freeman, and she is in Mrs. Sylvia Nielson’s and Jackie White’s PK Class.
The Kindergarten Student of the Month for October is Destinee Jenkins. Destinee is the 5 year old daughter of Kendrick Jenkins and Farlesha Simmons and is in Mrs. Jessica Lott’s class. She is a great student who works very hard in and outside the classroom. She always follows directions, is a helpful friend to others and is a great listener. Her favorite color is purple, her favorite book is Princess, and her favorite sport is basketball. Mrs. Lott feels blessed to have Destinee in her classroom this year and cannot wait to see her progress throughout the school year.
The 1st Grade Student of the Month for October is Anderius Barnes. Anderius is the son of Angie Crawford. He is a hard worker and his awesome grades reflect that. His favorite subject is Math and in his spare time he enjoys watching TV. When he grows up he wants to be a doctor. Anderius is in Mrs. Anissa Smith’s class.
The 2nd Grade Student of the Month is Teryn Holman. Teryn is the daughter of Terrance and LaKeisha Holman. She loves reading and likes it best out of all her other subjects. In her spare time, she enjoys riding her bicycle. When she grows up, she would like to own her very on hair salon. Teryn is in Ms. Billie-Jo Bellamy’s class.
The 3rd Grade Student of the Month for October is Chelsea Johnson. Chelsea is the daughter of LaTashia Johnson. She enjoys playing kick ball outside. When she grows up she said she wants to have her own hair salon! Her favorite subject is Math.
The 4th Grade Student of the Month is Ziunna Wade. Ziunna is the daughter of LaToya Kelly. She is a very good student who is both a leader and helper to her peers and she loves homework! She also loves playing with her dog, popping popcorn and watching TV. Ziunna is a very sound reader. She would like everyone to know that she can wiggle her ears.
The 5th Grade Student of the Month is Emaia Andrews. Emaia is the daughter of Veronica and David Garrett. Emaia is a hard worker and a friend to everyone. Her favorite subject in school is Reading, and in her spare time she enjoys playing outside on her swing set. She wants to be a doctor when she grows up. Emaia wants everyone to know that she is an honest, kind, friendly, loveable, and sweet person, and we agree to all of those.
HIGH SCHOOL:
The 6th Grade Student of the Month for October is May’Layia Crockett. May’Layia is the daughter of Calandra Page and Shelton Crockett. Her favorite subjects are Math and Tech Apps. May’Layia likes to spend time drawing, reading and playing with electronics. After high school, she plans on going to TSTC in Marshall to study technology, just like her cousin did!
The 7th Grade Student of the Month for October is Eric Allen. Eric is the son of Mary and Tommy Allen. His favorite subject is Math. He is involved in football, band and other sports. Eric plans to go to Texas A&M and get a Master’s Degree.
The 8th Grade Student of the Month for October is Destinee’ Rodgers. Destinee’ is the daughter of Kim Polk. Her favorite subject is English. Destinee’ is involved in athletics, HS Band, UIL, and cheerleading. Destinee’ plans to go to Stephen F. Austin and study in the medical field and later become a pediatrician.
The 9th Grade Student of the Month for October is Kevorian Barnes. Kevorian is the son of Kevon Barnes and Latasha Barnes. His favorite subject is Algebra I. Kevorian plans on attending Texas A&M or the University of Texas at Austin and get a degree in the welding field. Kevorian also hopes to play college football.
The 10th Grade Student of the Month for October is Connor Haynie. Connor is the son of Craig and Crissy Haynie. His favorite subject is chemistry. Connor plans to go to college and get a degree in either computer software engineering or computer programming.
The 11th Grade Student of the Month for October is Alexia Moreno. She is the daughter of Julie and Gene Miller. Her favorite subject is English. Alexia plans to attend Stephen F. Austin or Tarleton State University to earn a Ph.D in Zoology or Animal Science.
The 12th Grade Student of the Month for October is Angel Eufracio. Angel is the son of Beatriz Eufracio. His favorite subject is Accounting. After high school, Angel plans to attend Texas A&M University and study marketing.
